  • Let's make a Switch & Ditch Mitch 2008 :)

  • What kind of unsubstantiated info are you spewing? President made them reduce the amount of the bill by half as a "compromise"...then vetoed it anyway. Any deal he's offered has been NOT for schip, but for privatization tax writeoffs... ie: so those with money get coverage, and those who don't are SOL... do some research.

  • The problem with health care is that insurer's deny coverage to kids with "pre-existing conditions." That's why people cannot afford health insurance. And by the way, all of Congress and this Administration get FREE health insurance. Guess who pays for it?

  • Howdy,

McConnelly did a heck of a job trashing that kid. I hear he sent the kids address to everyone and my supporters sent the kid death threats. Good job! Here Mitch's address:

    Addison Mitchell McConnell

    3 Gardiner Ct.

    Louisville, KY 40205

Send him thank you notes for picking on that kid. Childerns who oppose me are terrorists.

    George W.

p.s. Why is spell check flagging "childrens". Fix this. That's an executive order.

  • Mitch McConnell for president!!

  • Democrats were hoping to pass off a SKUNK of a bill, as a sweet puppy dog of a bill.

    IF

the Democrats REALLY wanted to continue the SCHIP program which helped Graeme Frost--

    THEN

they could have passed a SCHIP bill like the one which helped Graeme Frost.

    But they didn't.

They weren't even happy with the President's offer of an ADDITIONAL $5 billion dollars.

  • SCHIP would have made it so that families making up to $80,000 a year could put heir children on the program, effectively taking 2 million children off of private insurance. It would also have covered "children" up to 25 years old. Since when is an 18-25 year old a child? Back in 93 a Clinton administration memo stated that using the issue of children's health would get us one step closer to socialized government health care. This was a sneaky bill to put us on the path of Hillary care!
