I just finished overhauling the Marx green and cream Union Pacific M-10000 (1934-37). I must say, she runs and looks pretty darn good. This is also the first run of my Marx Kansas City Southern ((1956-1960) with it's trailing unpowered A (it was junk when I found it, as were the powered A and dummy B units) and newly acquired caboose. I've had the nickel front Vandy (1934-1952) for a few years. It's pulling a few red Litho. cars which I picked up at a train show in May.
Let's not forget Mikey & Minnie. The background music is NOT from the Monty Python Show, Rather, it's the Liberty Bell March written by John Philip Sousa. Surprise! Interesting bit of trivia to learn that Monty Python borrowed it's theme music from Americas great military composer and band master, John Philip Sousa. I can still remember playing this song on the coronet in the school band. I loved it!
