Update: What's wrong with the garbage truck? (1:30)
I got so many questions on the garbage truck, it's become apparent this is a tough one to figure out. Here is why I said the truck is the key. Through no fault of the garbage truck, it made the drivers behind it to think the light turned green. The garbage truck is large, so it blocked the drivers behind it their view of the traffic light. And the garbage truck is long, so when it made that legal right-turn-on-red, it moved forward quite a bit. Now imagine the drivers behind it. Can't see the light, lane moves forward... It's natural to assume the light turned. Their fault was not attentive enough to actually check the light.

One would think a camera in the car records many exciting things. But in reality most footage is boring. Sometimes I see scenes worthy of capture that are out of the camera's coverage, but mostly there is just nothing unusual happening.

After a year's recording, I only have a handful of unusual scenes (some deleted). This video shows some red light running and a minor crash. I also followed an ambulance once, which is in another video.
