@NejiFireFlame I use Calvados which is a French apple brandy and the crust has been great. I've never seen Applejack in Bevmo etc and the one time i've tasted it I thought it was horrible... medicine fake apple taste. Calvados, on the other hand, is quite tasty on it's own. Especially with the pie. And a fire and blanket etc.

Ever since this episode aired, I've used Applejack in my apple pies. I also use Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum in my pumpkin pies now ^^

"...Well you know what I've got to say to that?"
"Uh-uh!"

HEY GUYS if we dont have apple jack what can we substitute it for something not alcoholic if possible
-
@NejiFireFlame I would say vodka. It's neutral in flavor(or so I heard, I've never had alcohol).

Um . . . Wasn't apple pie huge in Britain, too?
I dont think theres anything wrong with a unitasker, so long as you use it often.
Alton's crusade against unitaskers is rather to stop overzealous amateur chefs from buying every single expensive kitchen gadget that they really dont need and will never use save on the rarest of occasions.
