Read about how Japan handled there economic halt in late 90s and compare it to how Finland and Sweden handled there economic collapse in the beginning of the 90s and you will get it.
When you get deflation its very hard to get out of it.
The problem was that Bush and a loot of other countries ran deficit during the boom before 2007...
Zandi sucks out right. Let me follow his logic: Let's go $800 billion into debt to pay for "stimulus" in hope that the private sector gets a boost in order to pay back the $800 billion newly added debt later on down the road. I fucking HATE these Keynsian jack offs. When are people gonna get a clue that this shit does NOT work???
There is no way that a government bureaucracy will ever compete with private enterprise for bettering the world. Private enterprise lives or dies depending upon their performance. The consumer determines the allocation of capital by their choices. Bureacracy creates an artificial world dependent upon its support by withdrawing capital from the productive. Adequate minimum regulation optimizes a country's performance and we are now way past too much buracracy into the decline phase of excess
Wage gaps prevent people from wanting to be supervisors because they will look at the wage structure of other places and decide to go there Good supervisors make more money than the people they supervise (the horror!). Most if not all restaurants deduct out of tips and make employees share what's left over so it's really not an unheard of practice. Dealers at the Wynn make obscene tips plus generous salary pay and benefits. They make a very handsome living and hardly get treated badly.
Hey steve, instead of being a greedy douche bag saying one thing and doing another.Stop taking from your employees tips and man up.You have cost alot of people there houses and financial ruin. For those of you who dont know,Wynn is taking 40% of every dollar tip and giving it to the supervisors. This happen because tip employees were making more then management and stevey claimed he couldnt keep good supervisors do to wage difference.

Can anyone, with a straight face, claim that the recession is over? And what is a "jobless recovery"?
Ridiculous!
