This clip is from one of the most prolific and critically acclaimed songwriting periods in Benatar's incredible career. Gravity's Rainbow one of her gems is a record that was unforgivably overlooked by her then record label(Chrysalis Records), and in-turn was poorly promoted. However in retrospect the album remains to be one of her most beloved efforts. The album contains some of Pat's most incredible vocal performances, which can be heard on the tracks Everybody Lay Down, Somebody's Baby, and Rise(part2).
Included In this clip is a wonderful rare live acoustic version of the track Everybody Lay down, a song which became a number one hit on rock radio in the summer of 1993. Also in this clip Pat talks about the songwriting process and how she is inspired.
I will upload more from this time period shortly, Enjoy!!!!
