madonna's spoken her mind against the war in iraq in 2003 way before other celebrities, singers etc did it. she lost so many sales because her american life album was basically her political statement. she got boycotted in the US. I find it weird that such few people know this & think M only shouts at politicians during gigs. she's done SO much more than that & deserves more credit for having an opinion instead of following the mass media!
