  • Good instructor by the sound of him

  • @MrWillydoit that's right teaching and making student understand is a different skill. Some pilot's can be instructors and others can't

The ability to passon info is critical

  • The music is annoying...good video though. Thanks for sharing. Fly safe.

  • @MrWillydoit thanks for that!. I have R22 experience but none on the 300. I get the impression from reading about the 300, there is a lot less throttle manipulation than the old pre governed R22

Do you have any experience with the old pre governed R22. I'm trying to get a comparison in throttle management betweeen them

I'm impressed with the instructor. he seems to have the right manner and temperament

  • @MrWillydoit I see so it is not as bad as the old pre governor R22 days where you had to change throttle literally every time you changed power?

Sounds like you need only make fine adjustments

  • @MrWillydoit HA! I understand there is a throttle correlator of sorts on the 300. I'm not sure if they come with a governor as an option these days

Seem to be a good machine

  • sounds like there's no throttle governor. What a pain in the backside. I can't see the point of not having a governed throttle

I learned on an R22 in the days they had no throttle governors. Christ! What a bugger it was

  • How much does one of these things cost???? What type of license does it require? NICE VIDEO =D

  • Love the safety jandles!

  • It's funny! I used to dream of a glory job while I was a flight instructor, and now that I have that glory job, I miss the enjoyment I used to have each time I was able to help mold a person into a pilot. I have never let my CFI certificate expire and I plan to do some more instructing one day when I retire from Saudi Aramco. This looks like they were having fun all the way though the flight!
