I don't know why they didn't just move the city horizontally over the water from it's position so that when the asteroid was destroyed the beam would have missed them giving them time to fly away as the weapon had to lock on to their new location..u don't have to fly vertically ..and Weir get away from the window !!

Very good video, and song. However, everyone is right... IT IS OVERUSED. Now why is it overused? CAUSE it is a good song for action.
A few plot points I never understood. First, we could not figure out how to outmanuever a shielded orbiting gate? Atlantis could have just cloaked and moved to a different location - but I guess on the same planet, they would have been found again. Second, we could destroy stars but not this ?
Lastly, this is not the "end" or final hours

they couldnt cloak cause the shield and the cloak is the same if they engaged the cloak they would have no shield.Mckay tells you in the episode y they cant destroy it.
and lastly it was the end and the final hours of season 3 when i made the video 2 YEARS AGOOO!
