@MyNaturalTransition I had to chop mine off. I originally chopped in 2009 and in Jan of this year I got my hair flat ironed and got heat damage down to the scalp. I'm too ocd with the different textures to grow it out and transition, so I just chopped it.

Your progress looks good! I decided to go ahead and chop it off. I got tired of braid outs to blend the heat damage. I've got about 1 inch of hair right now :)

@ameerah7 Girl Yes. And get the kind that has the satin band around the edge instead of that elastic..those wear out faster!

LOL I use a slurpee cup too! hahaha, they are the bestest!! On to the important stuff, your hair is growing in FABULOUSLY! Looks like it's right on track. Now you just have to be sure to RETAIN! Which I'm sure you'll do as long as you keep it moisturized and your scalp healthy! Grow girl!

@pepi7108 It doesn't feel like it is!! I'm tryna master the scalp thing now! I just need to start braiding my air upward when I get to the nape because my ends always slide out of my scarf.
