In this clip: Dr. John Ankerberg introduces Hank Hanegraaff at the Memorial Serivce for Dr. Walter Martin in June, 1988. Dr. Ankerberg mentions praying with Hank and Dr. Martin, in October 1988, about Hank's leadership role at CRI. Now hear Dr. Martin himself talk about his plans for Hank and CRI at: http://www.WalterMartinJude3.com

In, Breaking the Silence, the Christian Research Institute's Elliot Miller responds to false accusations against CRI's President, Hank Hanegraaff. Dr. Walter Martin's daughter, Cindee, and son-in-law, Rick, have participated in this powerful defense of CRI and its President. (The Martin Family's Controversy with CRI: An Inside Perspective.)

"Controversy for the sake of controversy is sin. Controversy for the sake of the truth, is a divine command." Dr. Walter Martin, 1988

"...Dr. Martin did not leave CRI without an anchor. Twenty years ago he was faithful to fulfill his responsibility the Lord had given him, and to this day the anchor holds. Walter Martin successfully navigated the 'ship' of CRI and was faithful to protect her until the day God called him home." --Cindee Martin Morgan

  • Hi brother, Dr. Ankerberg spoke of CRI's future, at my father's memorial service because it was very public. Many ministries suffer, as a result of their founders death, and even are destroyed as a result. My father's leadership plans, for CRI, were spoken about publicly on this day and honored by the men he trusted most. It is what my father would have wanted. Walter Martin's leadership decisions, however, were not spoken about in this way during his private funeral. The Lord bless you!

  • Was this at Walter's memorial service? John talking about this ? I respect. I listened and watched a lot of Ankerberg also. But your dad taught me when I was a kid, he always said, 'to weigh what people say against scripture' in not those specific words. It reminds of when Mary Magdalene who thought enough about Jesus to pour pure nard on him getting him ready for burial.

None of the disciples thought enough, too.

Talking CRI even a lil, at WM's memorial, about its future. How disrespectful.
