Ahaha, that's really cool. I gave my girls their first bath (They're about 5-6 months old) in shallow warm water and they HATED it, I've got awful scratches up my arms where they've tried desperately to climb up. But after drying them, they smelled so lovely and were so soft! I didn't even use any shampoo. I will definitely give them another bath in a few weeks, despite being scratched to death... :)

My first rat was an Albino. I called her Brighteyes. :)

o..
so cute~
but it's quite dangerous to have electrical appliances in a bathroom...

hey williamtheslayer i agree with you but its good to give your rat a bath every few months but you dont have to its just good (makes em smell nicer)

If you had a rat, you'd know that they clean themselves aaaall the time... first thing after waking up, last thing before falling asleep. :)

Uhm, I'm surely not abusing animals. Rats don't need baths to be healthy, and I'm takin my guys to the vet regulary, so I know they're healthy. My opinion is the same opinion every single vet I ever went to has, but if you don't agree, it's no need to call me an idiot, okay? Relax, I love my rats and I do everything to make em happy, so don't insult me that way, I'd never ever abuse an animal.
at this time, she didn't really like getting wet but she's started to falling a sleep in a bathtub too.
My husband had some rats before but couldn't believe that both of our rats just LOVE taking bath and keep falling a sleep when i bathed them.
