Even though the indicator light says the charger is fine the output is not a constant/stable ~22v which roomba requires. When presented with this input voltage range roomba will not charge and may actually discharge the battery to the point that the cells reverse polarity resulting in a dead battery that cannot be recovered or reconditioned.

  • Try to put a scop on it, the reason it jumps around on you voltmeter is proberly because, you`r meter is to slow.

  • What voltage do the charger support ?

It looks like it`s looking for a load, and wenn it find it, it will begine to charge in the right voltage.
