@flarekary Most likely they contacted a freelancing composer, and almost certainly outside of US so he didn't even ask\was given any credit what so ever. Probably his name is lost forever.

Does anyone know who composed the theme? They should be known but maybe not cause they don't want to be recognized for a bad game ... ? someone must know

To think that some people actually anticipated that this would be the start of a multi-million dollar franchise similar to that of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Oh well, at least they gave us a kick-ass song if nothing else.
