RROD Fix

Just documenting my RROD fix

*update*
Just so everyone knows, this is temporary it won't restore it forever (i mentioned this in early comments). Also mentioned that it may be risky, and that the warranty is a much better way to go about fixing this, as it's risk free and will not RROD again once MS fix it.

Lol jk, it does flash and it's a standard RROD, the only issue being it that NOTHING happens, aside from the flashing and the fans don't do shit -.-

Maybe someone can help me because when I turn my xbox on I get RROD but the fans don't even turn on and it just sits there like a fucking retard with a constant RROD, it doesn't even flash. If it's any help, the only the part of the light-up circle that doesn't light up is the top right one (the one that would show controller two is connected), I'm not sure if this means anything but I'm confused as fuck.

i got RROD so i turned my xbox off and on and it worked

This is for those that dont know. The RROD is when the motherboard overheat and ussualy melt. This can't be repaired with 3 towels. You need to replace the motherboard with a new one. Which is not so convenient. Or toherwise aend it to microsoft.

Just tried it and my Xbox 360 is up and working again! Even though I know this is a temporary repair (or then again, who knows), I want to thank the person who made this video. You saved me some money! lol

thanks dude i had RROD and i searched allover the net but nothing worked and i tried yours and now my xbox works again!!! but is it a permanent fix?

yeah i got RROD and i only put mine in the towel at my friends for like 5-10 mins then i put it in my bag and walked back home i plugged it in and it worked does that mean it's more likely to work permanently because it wont be getting so hot or is it still just as likely to last a day then shit out to RROD again? please respond thanks :]
