@Seventiesfan - From what I've read, it's more a possibility this jingle was sung by Florence Warner, who did a host of jingles in the 1970's and '80's (including Frank Gari's "Hello News" package). Her voice, too, was ubiquitous in this period.

i saw this one every day after school...
watchin battle of of the planets...saw
the rollercoaster one much less...
it did drive me up the wall after seeing
it 100x...i like it now cause the elec.
piano and the gal singing...she does
