the only problem with that is that oscars dont stay small they grow very fast

min 55 g for an oscar and plus 15 g for each additional one. 30 g is really way too small for that many fish.

try some dither fish - like giant danios or rosey barbs etc and a few plants - plastic with an oscar - and some bog wood

as much as i HATE oscars i have to say they are smart.maybe it hates you.maybe its just shy and needs to adjust to its new enviroment because its still in shock

hrmm try hand feeding? or by using tongs or something?

oscars are notorious for "pouting" they do this when they get upset about anything really. it could be you added a new fish to you moved a plant and they didnt like it. I have 2 tiger oscars and if i so much as put my hand in to adjust a plant, they both get very pissy and will lay at the bottom and pout about it. dont worry, its normal
