Flow induced noise experienced by vehicle occupants can be a consequence of different flow phenomena generated by exposed parts such as side mirrors, A-pilars, tires and underhood details.
XFlow fluid solver deals physically with sound pressure waves, and the Large Eddy Simulation models available allow the direct computation of the fluctuating structures present in the flow.
