@90kevigilante You can put any AA batteries in it. You can put rechargeable batteries if you want.

@90kevigilante It takes regular AA batteries. Replace when dead. Like most headlamps.

@colinsdad1 Well thanks a bunch! Appreciate it ;o) I found that no batteries last long when exposed to this cold :o) That's the reason for this system.

A question on Lithium Batteries........................Have you ever tried them in this light ? After looking through some forums, a few people have tried em with no problems. Apparently, at the testing phase, Petzl had 2 failures in 1000 trials so erred on the side of caution.

Good review fella ! I bought one after seeing this. I got the standard battery pack though, not the belt version. $70.00 USD off of good ol' eBay !
