Homemade Maxtor 20GB Hard Drive Solenoid Engine

The drive crashed so i took it apart and holy crap it crashed hard. All thos scraches was from the head. I think from downloading stuff 24/7 for amost 3 months. LOL!! I got the solenoid from a zip drive that was working and a rod from rc parts it works great and runs very fast at 12V.

Where can I get a solenoid? Like from various house hold appliences? The one I bought dousnt have enough power to even put the flywheel around on revolution!
