i guess they associated how U1 being with DDR form the very beginning to the very beginning of beatmania or something i duuno *shrug*

If you're talking about the animated dancer,

a very similar animated dancer appeared in the DDR 1st/2ndMix interface.

Also, the backwards/upside down old (slightly different) old DDR CD-wheel near the end would suggest it too.

I think the whole thing is meant to be a tribute to DDR, because U1 recently posted on facebook that this song was requested to be "Like a DDR song"
