Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City - Plaza Pzazz 2009

Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a "home away from home" for families who must travel to Kansas City for their child's medical care...a place where families can maintain the comforting routines of day-to-day life during a stressful time. Through our Ronald McDonald Houses and Family Room, our mission is to reduce the burden of childhood illness on children and their families. We serve nearly 2,000 children and their families in our Houses each year. Our Family Room inside The Children's Mercy Hospital provides services to approximately 4,000 families, as well as, logs over 41,000 visits by those who need a place to relax, refresh, and regroup away from the hospital's intense environment.
