Schumin Web Video Journal: Riding Breda 3244

In this edition of The Schumin Web Video Journal, I do my first in-the-field type entry with my HP netbook. I am riding on board Breda 3244 on the Washington Metro, and I discuss doing the first Video Journal from out in the field, morning delays, and Metro's attempts to get feedback from all across the spectrum for the design of their new 7000-Series rail cars. We start in the tunnel between Wheaton and Forest Glen going towards Shady Grove, and get as far as Silver Spring before I cut it off.

Additionally, if I seem a bit scattered in this video, it's because I was a bit scattered here. I hadn't had a cup of coffee yet, and was feeling a little self-conscious about video-blogging in public on a subway train. I was a little concerned that people would think I was crazy, talking to myself with a laptop in front of me.

Well Ben, I thought it was great. Getting your followers on the journal to actually see what a metro ride is actually like, such as when you talk about your commute in the journal. Maybe show out the window a bit? Otherwise, it was very entertaining.
