The USL and other doube A or triple A type minor leagues where they have teams in smaller market cities/towns should feed the MLS academies. That's the only way it'll work in a country the size of the US. The key isn't as much as playing in Europe to get in form, but to properly have the talent in a young age.

If the MLS wants to develop, they're going to need to produce theirs own players. They should focus on the youth academies and the infrastructure of it. That's how the rest of the world does it, and that' how the US should do it.

@USsoccerdudes i know what you mean dude i too hate that i mean the coaches should always call up the proven players and leave out the scrubs they tend to screw it up
as for gomez that guy's a gun when given enough playing time so why dont give him a shot at it?

@camisa0ch0 Looking at our roster right now... I am expecting a 2-0 or 3-0 win for Mexico. Half of the selections were horrible and were undeserved. There were so many snubs in the roster and so many unproven players or players who have proven that they dont have what it takes. I honestly dont see us beating Mexico, but I am still going to cheer for USA all the way. While we do have some good starters, the bench guys are underwhelming. Chandler denied the call up but where's Gomez, Diskerud?

@USsoccerdudes for real? santos laguna is my town's team imao guess i should pay more attention to the youngsters... moving onto the guy from the bundesliga i was talking about jermaine jones.. gotta say i had to youtube him

@camisa0ch0 Adrian Ruelas actually played for mexico u-17 and was/is captain of Santos Laguna's u-20 team. But its good that not many people hear of him, that means he wont be overhyped. On to your question about the guy in the Bundesliga, which guy? There's a lot of young stars in the Bundesliga but im guessing that u are talking about Timothy Chandler. The guy is a super version of the 2002 Beasley, and he can play RB, so he can definitely be the one to replace Cherundolo or Dempsey.

@USsoccerdudes you got it bud low profile players are the ones who're more likely to succeed imho i've watched new york red bulls's juan agudelo however i did not know he played right winger he strikes me as a nice forward all in all
as for ruelas sorry pal havent heard much of him other than his background is salvadorean dunno if i'm mistaken the guy for another MLS player
anyway what happened to the guy that plays in the bundesliga? dont remember his name but i heard hes a star in the makin

@camisa0ch0 We respect Mexico too, but on the overhype thing. It's the same for Agudelo except he is not Man U level yet. People didnt seem to know who he was until the S. Africa friendly. Both of us actually watched him in the u-20 milk up where he was playing on the right wing. We still cant believe he is the one being hyped, I was actually more impressed with Adrian Ruelas. Hype seems to come to any player these days. But maybe obscurity is what allows a player to succeed.
You guys shouldn't take it personal when European fans go on MLS videos and put your league down. They are only being consistent with the way they treat each other. at least they go to MLS videos...better than being ignored
As for MLS snobs? Every league has them to

@ManlnCognito MLS snobs are more of just annoying than it becoming personal. We've learned how to deal with certain Euro fans, but we wanted to make sure people are aware of why a big amount of us act like idiots.
