It would seem that The Tubes on the life support machine for the political career of Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK) have been clogged by enormous amounts of corruption.

Score one more seat for the Democrats.

Whether or not you approve of Democratic control of the Senate, I would think most everyone would see Stevens' loss as a good thing. The guy is a tool, and in the pocket of anyone and everyone who is paying.

Well I don't know that I heard it from any credible source, but listening to his tirade, I just assumed he had memorized some vague talking points passed to him on a notecard by a lobbyist from a major Telco. Is it confirmed?
