I think adobe will pull this off better than google.. Unreal Engine through flash without any download times says hi! Adobe's c++ through flash Code name "Alchemy" might do this better..
Downloading bastion through a browser is not very web friendly and doesn't server americas instant gratification expectations..

That's because you use Firefox, use Chrome and you want everything to run in your web browser :P

@ganboldg Software from trusted servers, with signature doesn't make you save. You always need experience. Also, nativ client does is currently far from platform independant. Why don't create a a set of indepenent libraries or a standalone sandbox?

@Sience2001 I see web app as just application. I think question is how it's developed and what platfom it's run on. I wish all my app run on the browsing platfom and setup apps from certified and trusted servers. Then you don't have to use antivirus software.
I love the future

@Arishava I don't think so. The apps work offline and its just a push for the Chrome OS because WebGL is not ready yet and it will take WebGL at least 5 years from now I think. So activating Native Client to bring Games to Chrome OS is a very smart move.
And its not like you miss something when you use Firefox on a Windows/Mac, because Windows/Mac has much better games.
