Cool video.. I just have some trouble and hope you can help me with this:

I have a Nikon D5000 camera and today I received my holga lens. I've been trying it out and it woks pretty good. It's just that I can't use the flash... My camera just won't let me. It says something like "Flash is on TTL mode. Change the mode or use a CPU lens."... maybe it's a stupid question but I'me kinda new at photography and it'd be cool if you could help me with this.. thanks a lot :)

hey man, thanks very much. it works no problem with the flash on mine, are you using it in manual yea ? if you hit the flash button does the flash pop up? when you have the lense on ? it should work from there let me know how you get on

What exactly is the point of the pinhole lens? I honestly cant see any point in them at all

no real point , they are just a bit of fun and might give you some ideas for taking photos and looking at things differently

Just ordered mine! Slap that sucker onto my D300s, and since my girlfriend's got one of those Holga clones with the lens kit I can play with that too!

@HenrytheBrit it just give a bit of vignetting a sort of vintage look, just good for thinking of new ways to take a photo

@gabbster2112 hey, make sure you have a long enough shutter speed, if that doesnt work make sure the holes in the back arent covered in some way, if it's still not working maybe you should send it back for a new one

I am getting one for my canon tomorrow for christmas, cant wait :) I will be using for dslr filmmaking, I probably will try some photos as well. And yes I saw one of your previous comments, I agree with you, this lens is just for a bit of fun, it will definitely inspire me to create a few more videos with a different feel and style to them

i just bought a holga lens kit for my nikon d5100, and when i look through the lens it looks fine, but when i actually take the picture the picture comes out black. how can i fix this?

But like what makes it different? haha Like is it distorted? Or is it good for long exposure?
