La obra completa de Vivaldi es brillantísima. Él, junto a Beethoven y Smetana, quizás fue el mejor compositor naturalista de toda la Historia de la música. Vivaldi capturaba escenas de la naturaleza y las convertía en frases melódicas mediante las sutiles notas empleadas. ¡Un genio! Romàntic nocturn.

@pinkthatsall3 Ah, the arguments about instrumentation that used to fly for this piece! It's pretty much settled that the flautino pieces were for a little recorder (although there's still dispute about exactly what type). I've heard it played on piccolo and it's still pretty cute although the tone is of course very different... I haven't heard it on flute but it could be interesting; the flautino concerti are technically more advanced than Vivaldi's own flute concertos - a fun challenge?
