Murphy's House Move

Ever wonder what it looks like to have your entire house picked up by a truck and moved? Look no further. We bought a 1,300 square foot house in Austin, TX in 2000 that was pier and beam. In 2009 we decided it was too small and we decided to build a completely new house on our lot. This is a highlight reel of the move of that old house. We sold the structure in lieu of having the old house demolished, thus recycling the structure. The move occurred around 1am with DPS motorcycle escorts, as is apparently standard protocol for these kinds of adventures. The house now sits on a lot near Airport and Lamar in Austin.
