  • I love you

  • Chase me!

  • We didn't get the lasers in Portsmouth for one or more of these reasons. One, they were pushing the curfew thin (because the building was evacuated because the alarms were set off by Stardeath's smoke) and two, because they had to stop at the end of The W.A.N.D. (two people had seizures and so there was a big gap while they were seen to), and three, because the venue is a lot smaller than Troxy.

    Interesting Friday 13th!

  • Sorry to hear that. Hope it was still a good gig for you

  • @Nogli They must have been on a strict curfew or something? Id have loved the yeah yeah song. theres always next time!

  • @BonhamsBongo Talking to the crowd every so often is fine, and necessary sometimes (the introduction to Slow Motion) but he does it just too much. Linking What is the Light/The Observer was great, but stopping between them all, talking to the crowd and getting 'come on motherfuckers!' to get a cheer gets really tiresome. The plan was apparently a three song encore (She Don't Use Jelly, Yeah Yeah Yeah Song and Do You Realize??) but it was cut short. Of the 100 minute slot, they performed for 75.

  • @Nogli I love watching the lips and missed them in 2009 as my mrs was heavily pregnant (had tickets too!) , loved hearing the whole of Soft Bulletin but Wayne did perhaps break it up a bit too much. Should deffo have played one or two more on the encore! W.A.N.D. and She dont use Jelly wouldve brought the roof down!

  • @BonhamsBongo Alexandra Palace? I was there too! I That 'bad reactions' speech by Wayne has become a staple since the Portsmouth show, or so I was told by someone next to me yesterday who stalks them on tour. Fittingly, I have epilepsy, yet no bad reactions here.

The show last night, amazing. Still I can't help but feel that they could have squeezed in a couple more songs at the end (as they have done at the other Soft Bulletin shows) if Wayne didn't have chronic bouts of verbal diarrhoea.

  • @Nogli i just had a seizure watching this, it was fucking great!

  • I'm trying to relive my experience at a Flaming Lips concert. As great as this vids are, its just not the same.

  • he can make a crowd do what he does .. mid blowing

  • Still you got to laugh.
