I love the original song as one of the best Lizzy tunes ever. This early version also sounds quite good.

Maiden used to be my favourite band... then Philly Lynott came swinging into my life, and now Lizzy rule my roost... but Iron Maiden are still amazing.

Taxi Driver is a movie from 1976 Robert De Niro is acting character called Travis.
There is point where guard asks Travis "What are you waiting" and Travis replies "i'm waiting for the sun to shine"

I like Iron Maiden too. I like Lizzy more, and I have to be in a particular mood to listen to Maiden, but they have lots of good music.

@sailaway1966 As far as metal bands go, Iron Maiden is a lot more thoughtful than others when it comes to their lyrics and songwriting. Plus, Steve Harris is one of the ten greatest bass players that has ever walked the earth. Thin Lizzy is my favorite band of all time but Iron Maiden is still better than 99.9 percent of the rap/pop/emo crap coming out now. Lizzy is king, but Maiden still rocks pretty damn hard.

Agreed 100%. I listen to a lot of Maiden. Great band in their own right, and one that respects bands that come before them...including Thin Lizzy.
