For people new to this stuff. Get the "no soder kit" option and the pre built hot end. Go with the dual heads as well. if you do not go with the dual heads you cannot print designs that require PLA supports. Sounds difficult but it really is not.

Yep we have built a Makerbot too but the Rapman is a much better 3d printer for a number of reason, but then again it's worth a little more so you would expect this.

@123drue No the instructions are very good and clear to understand. I don't think you will have any problems.
