@devilboy666x Clearly you never taken the second route before, it's painful and I love the sound track. good play though very very good.

The japanese version is very different isn't it. There was no Red Skelot with a whip on the platform at 27 seconds...

You may of taken the longest route, but you did not take the hardest route.
Going to the Atlantis sunken city with the Aquarius music would of been the hardest route,
Of course you would of bypassed the first part of Dracula's castle where you fight Frankenstein ;)

There are similarities with early zelda games, and castlevania. The falling blocks, the sound when you take damage, the flying eyeballs and so on. It is interesting to watch for these.
-
No you didn't. You took the upper path and bypassed the "Atlantis" setting where you'd end up fighting the bone dragon (twice) while running for you life past falling columns.

This game is frustrating but crazy fun
I don't get it. You pick the weakest partner b/c I thought you were going to take the harder and longest route for the advanced challenge but you take the easier route here.

@kyrieeleison1 n00b, the one I took is the hardest and longest.

What are the blocks with roman numerals on them for?

they are called the double and the triple shot, they allow you to throw 2 or 3 sub weapons at the same time, normally you can throw the sub weapon once until it disappears from the screen.
