International Sand Sculpture Festival 2010 - Denmark

27 of the most creative sculptors gathered in Denmark in the city 'Søndervig'.
Together, they made 3,000 tons of sand into sculptures, with the theme; "The Mysteries of Egypt".
These sculptures were made in 10 days.
Last year there were 75,000 visitors.
I took some pictures, and here they are!

I've been here some years ago too, and I think the sculptures were better there. These sculptures were also quite awesome. If I find my old pictures, of the earlier Sand Sculpture Festival, I'll make sure to make a move with them, too!

There were:

- 8 invidual sand sculptures.
- A 100 meter long sand wall, which was 7 meters tall.
- A 30 meter long sand wall, which was 7 meters tall, too.

How do they make them stend? i mean, sand is like liquid. but sand is solid. and btw. i dont like the music, it creeps me out xD
