What is amazing is that the FED has massive amounts of the "peoples" gold in storage, basically it has been "nationalized" by the government. Like Dr. Paul, I believe that a Competing Currency is the solution, then let the People decide which money to use. I guarantee you, if given the choice, the People will use gold or gold-back currency instead of Fiat Federal Reserve Notes.

Fiat Money is, by its very nature, debt. Each "dollar" is a bill of credit that must be borrowed into existence. Now think about that for a minute, if we must pay down the National Debt what will we use? If Fiat Money is used to pay the Debt and Fiat Money is, by nature, Debt then the government must borrow more Debt to pay its Debt.
Fiat Monetary Systems all fail because it is mathematically impossible for it to continue without massive irreversible insolvency, it becomes a credit failure.

Most of us do not understand how the Fed and US money works. If you do not you should learn - it isn't that complicated and you will be AMAZED about the ramifications!
Inflation is a TAX and we ALL PAY IT
Lets slowly bring back reality and the gold standard!
Lets cut back on spending and slush!

lol, i understand that much of the media is corrupt, but ill also say that much of the media hates bush and if they could prove it and they got the chance they would, if for no other reason then to get bush out of the presidency, and btw rp doesnt think 9/11 was an inside job

Watching videos is cool but it is going to take a lot more. Our Founding Fathers pledged "our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor". It will take nothing less today. Unless we are willing to go big we may as well stay home and prepare for the worst. Just do it. Go to ronpaul2008(dot)com and give some of your fortune however small it may be.

Amen brother, we need small actions, not big stagnations. Whether it is 20 minutes or $20, defending our liberty and personal freedoms should be worth far, far more to us if we simply remember what our true values have always been as Americans, and the Americans of old from whence we came.
