@larrygentry You don't understand. It's a metaphor. We should not fear. Fear is just an illusion. When you think about it that way and see outside of what's in the movie, than you'll understand and appreciate this scene.

Are you guys talking about the movie Dune, about which David Lynch said, "I started selling out on Dune. Looking back, it's no one's fault but my own. I probably shouldn't have done that picture, but I saw tons and tons of possibilities for things I loved, and this was the structure to do them in."? The film that Frank Herbert himself disavowed?
