There was a time when I believed That you belonged to me
But now I know your heart is shackled To a memory
The more I learn to care for you
The more we drift apart
Why can't I free your doubtful mind
And melt your cold cold heart
-
I've tried so hard my dear to show That you're my every dream
Yet you're afraid each thing I do Is just some evil scheme
A memory from your lonesome past
Keeps us so far apart Why can't I free your doubtful mind And melt your cold cold heart
Another love before my time
Made your heart sad an' blue
And so my heart is paying now For things I didn't do
In anger unkind words are said That make the teardrops start
Why can't I free your doubtful mind And melt your cold cold heart

@stechatte Miley Cyrus is mindless pop fluff but she has a look and style that is hers and that tweens responded to...thus 30 million sales. Eminem might not be your cup of tea because his lyrics are misogynous and even brutal at times, but you can't deny that he is a talented rapper...thus 30 million sales. One person's crap is 30 million others gold and vice versa. Don't be so judgemental. Just like what you like and let other people do the same. Peace.

I listen to a variety of music, mostly metal, but I have Rickie Lee in my collection as well. As a 45 year old music addict, I have found another addiction; Norah Jones. She is special.

Please don't compare this wonderful talent to Billie Holiday, Holiday was nothing except a boring drunk and drug addict.

Hannah Montana sold over 30 million albums, too. Marshall Mathers has over a dozen Grammy's, apparently for very artistically chanting how he likes to "brutalize his bitches", or something like that. So what's your point, exactly? Is it that if 30 million idiots each spend $15 on a piece of crap, then crap doesn't stink after all?

@stechatte 37 million album sales worldwide and 9 Grammy Awards say otherwise. ; D

i can'T describe that but it's incredible awesome and spriring! i love it

absolutely mesmerizing
Norah Jones is a genetic injustice...How can you be so talented and so beautiful at the same time? How the ordinary person cannot feel diminished when looking and listening to her?

Norah is a true musical icon in her own right. The day will come near the end of her musical career [that will be a sad day] that her body of music will stand up to the light of day, and those who have, and as of now are, missing out on this wonderful woman's talent will know what they missed.
