MEDLEY Development- A failed business plan will ruin our town and cripple East Irondequoit

The Medley deal that the current Administration signed with the out of town developer was a horrible deal for our beautiful town. Irondequoit tried the Mall 20 years ago and this ridiculous idea is destined to fail. Unfortunately the developer is planning on building a 740 unit tower that is zoned apartments and has no price limit. When the complex goes bankrupt the tower will most likely turn low income housing or DSS and have grave implications for all of Irondequoit. Taxes will increase to handle the huge increase of students, crime will rise, property values will decrease, East Irondequoit school district will face a massive problem of educating the new students and we will need to hire even more Police to handle the increase crime.
Our current administration has no idea what they are doing and most likely being controlled by Albany or fat cat politicians. Why else would they have signed this absurd deal with Mr Congel? ROBRETFORIRONDEQUOIT.COM
