This song makes me cry deep sobs of what can never be.. It's just beautiful ..And maybe what can never be is perfect..<3 It's like my heart feels like it weighs a million pounds listening to this song.....If only you could persuade someone of anything???

Richard and Teddy are wonderful together!
RT's music is in a class of it's own. The lyrics create quirky, fascinating, believable characters that let us see we each have a part of that in us. His music is a unique mix of styles, unusual rhythmes and moods ranging from the sinister to peaceful to high energy.
What a thrill to be able to hear the music and watch RT perform!

This was originally an instrumental composed by RT for the soundtrack of the film 'Sweet Talker'. Tim Finn did indeed write the lyrics (as you mentioned in an earlier post) resulting in this excellent piece.

The Thompson legend at its best! The video is sweet and touching as well. Harmonies can melt your heart!
