True Country are people like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Hank Williams Sr, Ernest Tubb, Marty Robbins, Bob Wills, Charley Pride, amoung others, except for the new stuff, because it is basically just Rock and Pop music with cowboy hats and steel guitars.

ya but there's still some new stuff that sounds like the real country. like John Anderson, Tracy Lawrence, Jamey Johnson, Hank Williams III, Shooter Jennings, etc. there is a lot of ''pop country'' BS tho.
