Learn to Surf - Surf lessons: The surfing pop up

Learn to surf. In today's surf lessons I wanted to demonstrate a popular surfing technique know as the pop up. This is one of first surfing tips you will learn if you decide to enroll in a surf camp or take a surf lesson from a professional.
The pop up is not a different surf technique to learn...it just takes a little balance and of course some practice.

So get out there in the surf and practice those pop-ups. I'm sure you'll be catching waves in no time.

yeah don't put yer hands on the rail cuz if its not waxed once you push off they'll slip right off and you will hit yer face on the board. which hurts pretty bad

honestly dude i longboard skateboard, freestyle skateboard, blade,ski,snowboard, so i have a good sense of balance, and i tried surfing it might a help just a bit, but its still fuckin hard,lol
