Had someone removed that metal fragment, the harmful object, from the runway, this tragedy could have been avoided. Prophet Muhammed (May peace be on him) says, "Removing a harmful object from a path is a sadaqah (a charitable deed)" " إماطة الأذى عن الطريق صدقة
It was 25th July 2000, when the Supersonic Concorde 4590 flying from Paris to New York crashed just 60 seconds after takeoff. All 100 passengers and 9 crew on board the flight, and 4 people in a local hotel on the ground were killed.
According to the French Accident Investigation Bureau (BEA), the crash was caused by a titanium metal piece that fell from another aircraft that had taken off minutes earlier. This metal fragment punctured a tyre on the Concorde's left main wheel bogie during takeoff. The tyre exploded, and a piece of rubber hit the fuel tank. This impact caused a major fuel leak from the tank, which then ignited due to severed, sparking electrical wiring.
