Ella Rule Explains the causes and solutions to the Food crisis.

There is the possibility of raising enough food to sustainably feed the world, she says, but the free-market fundamentalism of international institutions such as the World Bank and IMF destroy national agriculture in favour of US and EU exports.

Once again, we find the wealth of the capitalist class is built upon the poverty of the masses of working people world-wide; their joy upon our misery.

The solution to large scale capitalist-imperialist agribusiness is not a return to primitive small scale peasant farming, she argues, but to expropriate the capitalist class, and run large scale farming, freed from the profit motive irrationally distorting all decisions, for long term and environmentally sustainable production for the benefit of humanity.

Only the working class can achieve this goal, the task of overthrowing the capitalist class and building socialism is more urgent than ever. The survival of human civilization demands it.

sela lutte finale, groupnous et demien! l'Internationale sera le genre humain!!!

  • Thank you very much Cde. Ella. Using what monopoly capitalism has in place is the only way to go forward with Socialism I do worry that so much of what is in place was done to expand the circulation of capital and increase surplus vlaue and profit. We've got to take seriously the science behind many of these muckracking organizations about the deleterious healh problems caused by commoditized science for profit. Please cdes. check out my playlists. Saturated fat is GOOD for us!!!!

    Peace and love from Scotland

  • @FuzzypegX

Also, as a communist you should be opposed to all religion and thus Islam.

  • @FuzzypegX

Actually when you examine Fascist movements such as the British Union of Fascists you can reach the conclusion that they'd have ahceived far more success if the threat of communism was more widely felt as it was in Italy, Spain and Germany. Communism is a disease; a distortion of human nature.

Therefore I will atack it where ever I find it.

  • Yes meat must continue to be produced. Supply essential nutrients more readily than vegetarian diet. Statistics in presentation indicate enough calories to feed everybody despite reasonable meat production. Plus in some geographical areas only meat production practicable. Under socialism all can be optimised - which not possible where profit motive governs everything.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam Your username says more about your politics than your comments ever could...

Also, your grasp of history leaves something to be desired. Regressive nationalist movements typically mobilize in times of capitalist crisis by misleading the working class and creating scape-goats which they can target while leaving the social systems that are at the heart of the problem in tact.

But what does any of this have to do with Comrade Rule's excellent video about the world food crisis?
