This demonstration shows constraints working in three dimensions. They're very easily adapted to the third dimension, and as you can see the result is pretty fancy, even if it's just points and lines. After all this is just an engine.

Collision detection and reaction is not yet adapted to three dimensions.

  • Very cool stuff. Just incase you're interested, this is effectively how we did the physics in Goo, except the points are constantly searching each other to create new constraints, and snapping old ones.
