Wilf & Donna "How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?"

Oh, man. During the mid-80s, on Roger's Community Cable here in Kitchener/Waterloo, the best show on air was "As You Like It" starring husband and wife, Wilf and Donna. You ordered a songbook, then called up requests...and while people sometimes asked for "Crystal Chandeliers," every week they were DELUGED with requests for this song, which was their trademark. Over time -- as you see here -- the volunteer cameramen would get in on the action. Sometimes they'd just pan down and film her slippers for minutes at a time. Seriously, you haven't seen anything until you've seen Wilf and Donna.

WILF AND DONNA!!!!!!!! Holy crap,, I just woke up thinking about this show. I couldn't remember their names or if it was London, Hamilton or Kitchener. I grew up in Cambridge while this show was on. Wilf and Donna were like mythical beings in my school. We weren't sure if they were for real.

Its my parents! I didn't even know this was on here but my brother told me about it, I had to check :)

I was on the show once when I was a baby :)

They still have the cable 20 mugs and a couple VHS's of the shows. (And the same guitar)

I have been searching all over, trying to find out what happened to Wilf and Donna (last name Denai?) and wondering whether they realized how popular their show was (probably, considering the barrage of requests).

It's definitely time for a comeback...or at least a retrospective on CTV or in the paper!
