Saying this isn't music is ridiculous. There is a tempo, time signatures, riffs, varying notes, harmonizing, etc... Aka, things that would qualify this as a song. Songs are music, no?
Just because it's not power chord worship played in 4/4 time at 150bpm doesn't make it "Not music".
Not liking it is one thing, and completely understandable, but saying it's "not music" is being closed minded to the fullest. If you want to hear something a little closer to "not music, listen to Merzbow. haha

i actually really like this song. idk i think the pointless virtuosity actually lends an atmospheric quality to this music. it adds to the chaotic feeling of far too much going on and i can really dig that.

@boxofficedeath Between the Buried and Me is one of the greatest bands out there. Perfect combination between showing what they can play and playing what sounds good. Ants of the Sky is such a killer song for example.
