how do i change the settings in my prefs folders to get the graphics like this? i wanna play on my windows 7pc but it cant handle it in lowest settings.

rofl... got AoC to work on an Inspiron 6000 laptop, what's that like 2003? Graphics were set a lot higher than this though it lagged some =/
For having around the same sys requirements as WAR I gotta say AoC looks a ton better...

I can only say one thing xD atleast the game runs smoothly, if i tried playing it on mine it would fry my whole system...and i got this comp 5 months ago lol

you changed the settings in your prefs folder to drastically lower the graphics..my pc is the exact same as yours and it runs on medium with a few tweeks

It runs on High at 50fps when I'm alone in some cave with no mobs and no spell effects. But in group pve or pvp, even with those settings the game is barely playable.
Guess it's time to buy myself a new rig.
