  • the purpose of those videos is to help people. Small stone called slip stones.

    they are very cheap and add shaped.

    if someone has money issues (now days a lot do) they can buy slip stones and then glue them together.

    their grit is same as big stone norton 4/8k if you buy American made slip stone.

    if you buy Japan made slip stones then lets say 4k slip japanese stone will close to 5k American slip sotne grit level.

    i wanted to show how to use smaller stones in your hands.

  • I noticed that yo put the stone at a little bit of an angle to yourself, do the same thing. lol.

  • Why did you switch to the smaller stone (4,000 grit) at 2:20? - after you had used the larger white stone?

  • Looks like you are giving the blade about 50 passes on each side (when there is no damage) to sharpen the blade. Is that correct?
