Thank you for your comments. Troy died 2 yrs ago , several months after this TV story went to air. They tried everything but his MND was particularly virulent, probably because he was extremely fit when he got it. Hope and faith is a fine thing but Troy taught me the humbling power of acceptance and living every day as if its your last.

I do not see one ounce of hope or faith from this couple, its sad to see.
Ive been LIVING with mnd for almost 9 yrs and will do anything and everything to stay alive not only for me but for my young daughters and family. I will have a ventilator when I cannot breathe on my own and I will have a feeding tube when I cannot swallow and I WILL live many many years with mnd to watch my girls grow and flourish into young ladies....
I just pray Troy finds the strength and courage to do the same.
