Snake/Meryl MGS4 love theme

Just a little something I whipped together because I can't friggen wait for MGS4's soundtrack to be released. Oh, and the game, too. Harry Gregson Williams is the MAN! Woot!
So, yeah... the song is called "MGS4 love theme" and it's from the SSBB soundtrack. The song during the credits was ripped from the GC 07 MGS4 trailer, and the song after that is "Calling to the night" from the MPO ost. Snake and Meryl are just a kickass pair.
I made sure to include a lot of rare footage to keep it interesting. I wanted to include that clip at the start, but I didn't know whether I should use the original or the remake. The original had better acting delivery, but the remake looks better for the video. So I took the audio of the original and made it fit the visuals of the The twin snakes.

@Puferu I don't think it has very much to do with Meryl preferring someone over Snake. If you recall, in the story, Snake is the one who left Meryl after their 6 month relationship and disappeared for almost 10 years. Then when they reunited after all that time, Snake brushed her off every time she tried getting close to him.

I'm not saying that he never loved her, but that's what happened. Meryl got dumped, and was later able to move on. Personally I think Snake wanted her to move on.

I'd prefer: they found a cure for Snakes rapid aging shit, He marries Meryl, world is saved and yay blah fuckin hah. But no...SHIT PANTS gets her. Fuck. Everybody had a cool ending except for Snake.

@yuyuzja I think snake wanted meryl to move on because snake wasnt exactly "normal" per say and he was gonna die soon any way. It was good that she moved on. :) diddnt u see his super aging ? we all saw he was gonna die soo D:

@S3RBIAN3AGLE187 You know? I think he started a trend :p After Old Snake comes out, we see amazing video game heroes like Sam Fisher and Ezio Auditore kicking ass in their old age. In my opinion this makes people respect elders a bit more =D And for an old man, you have to admit, Snake's pretty handsome X3

I do, however, agree with the whole Raiden thing. It just won't be the same. It's like Akira Toriyama-- trying to squeeze life out of a game that can't get any more awesome, ruining it a bit.
